I'm sorry families - there has been a miscommunication about picture day.
Tuesday and Thursday classes will be on Thursday April 8th, not April 6th.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

Good Friday!
It's easy to have fun with the Easter goodies, but let's be sure this Easter to remember what our Savior did for us.
Next week Tana Thomas will be stepping out from behind our administration desk and into our classrooms. She'll be teaching about the Parable of the Seeds, the ascension of Jesus, flowers and the letter R.
Photo Day for Tuesday and Thursday classes will be held on April 6th. Our Wednesday classes will have pictures on April 7th. Be sure to have your child at school ready for pictures at 9 a.m. We will begin school pictures at the start of our school day.
Thank you and have a Wonderful Easter!

Circus Time!

Hello Readers!
We are just about to Spring Break, but let's not slack on our learning!
This coming week we will be learning about air and wind, kites, how Jesus calms the storm on the boat, and spring time.
Parents: Please remember that we will be talking about the crucifixion, resurrection and ascension in the coming weeks.
Also - we are having our Farm field trip on March 23, the first Tuesday following Spring Break. Students need to be wearing their t-shirts for this field trip. We would love for every Mom and Dad to join, but unfortunately we are limited for accompanying siblings.

OH MY GOODNESS!
My fellow readers! Please forgive the lateness in my post!
We have had the most successful Parent Teacher Conferences and by successful I mean - we have much to praise! Our kiddos are doing absolutely fantastic!
We have been practicing our reading and writing skills to prepare for next year's class. Each student has homework (which is practicing their letters) and returns it to school for a sucker or a sticker. Parents remember - I'm on your side; we can work together!
In the coming week (February 23-25) we will be learning about being good stewards of our teeth, how Jesus washes the disciple's feet, and about the letter W.
In our next post I will include pictures of our Valentines party - so be looking for those.
Thanks for reading!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We are off to a running start!
Even with our snow days, our kids are advancing into the reading and writing realm!
Last week we had our teddy bear picnic and learned about the letter C. We also talked about how Jesus wanted to learn about God so much, that he was lost from his family for three days, but he was in the safe hands of teachers.
We have a new and wonderful addition to our classroom and her name is Mrs. Heather Wernholm. She will be in our class on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the rest of the school semester.
Parents:
Valentine's Day is coming up and I would love your help with any ideas for a party or crafts!
